Embroidery needles with a point are primarily suitable for silk embroidery and all fine embroidery work. The needles are made of hardened steel, absolutely burr-free, and have a symmetrically punched eye. Embroidery needles need a correspondingly large eye to easily thread wool or coarser yarns. The finely ground point and the smooth coated surface of the needles allow them to glide effortlessly through any material. A balanced ratio of length and thickness gives the needles their good elasticity.
