The simply designed wrap-around trousers are both great reversible and comfortable boot trousers with an extravagant look. The wrap-around parts can overlap at the front or back. With two thinner fabrics, ZUMA is ideal as reversible trousers, with the second reversible fabric peeking out nicely behind the overlapping parts.

The variable waistband of the pants offers an optimal fit for both slim and larger girls. The waistband can be sewn from ribbed fabric or from fabric with elastic and fits comfortably around the waist. ZUMA can be worn in many lengths: as long pants over high boots, for example, so that the beautiful boot tops can also be seen, or as casual 7/8 or 3/4 length gaucho pants. The pants therefore have excellent growth potential! In addition, the large surfaces of the ZUMA pieces offer a blank sheet, so to speak, for appliqués, fabric painting and other decorations. The large curved scalloped edges can also be decorated with ruffles or braids; the free book “Round Hem” provides many ideas for this. Zuma can also be made completely double-layered and turned inside out.

Zuma can be sewn from any non-stretch fabric. Thicker fabrics such as jeans, canvas and corduroy give the trousers some stability, while thinner fabrics such as cotton poplin, baby corduroy and light jeans flutter beautifully in the wind and are therefore more suitable for summer days.
